| *Long-winded stuff about me ahead!* Yep, a 21-year-old female that has resurfaced here from Gaia Online... by the same name. I am a Sonic fanfiction writer (and a casual fan at that), an HTML/CSS coder, and a computer hobbyist. I did weird things as a kid. The most well-known thing I did in the family was sticking a bobby pin into a kitchen wall outlet. I like working on computers, writing my Sonic fanfiction, reading hilariously bad fanfiction (on occasion), classic video games and their music, Court TV, and drawing the occasional drawing (picture). I dislike fandom purists (elitists), very blatant Mary Sues and Gary Stus, most of today's music, and malfunctioning computer hardware. I am very serious about some things, but never fandom. Fandom is supposed to be fun, after all! I also write completely non-canon Sonic fanfiction, but I leave almost any canon Sonic characters' traits intact. Besides, I tried writing a canon-related story, and it sucked worse than my non-canon stuff. So don't bother trying to convince me to stop writing my series. * * * * I discovered the Internet in 1998, thanks to Dad getting his first computer... and 56K dial-up. (!) I was 11 at that time. I find it hilarious if it stayed the same today. HTML pages coded in unusual ways must've been a good thing then. :/ I also find it funny that I hated the Internet from then to 2001. Now I'm on it almost every day since then. I have different Internet aliases, being mslightyear (or a variant of it), a very obscure name, and CW Cyrix, my Sonic fanfiction penname and my website's name. Cyrixdisk is my livejournal name, and missxr_ is for another website I rarely frequent nowadays. I am not too big in the artistic department, but I am somewhat big in the technical department, mainly with computers. I currently maintain all the computers and the network in the house. Heck, the family usually calls me when something goes wrong with their PCs. xD Art? I have very few drawings that I would even bother to scan into the computer for upload. They're all scrap work. And they're dated as far as 2004. I think. ._. I'll probably edit this paragraph out if I upload them. |
